Of course, if you bought caviar in a jar weighing just over 100 grams, then the question of its storage is not raised: most likely, you will eat it on the first day. In closed form, cans with caviar are stored in the refrigerator for a year, but just in case, check the shelf life of the purchased jar, indicated on the label, as some manufacturers limit it to six months.

If you bought red caviar in a glass jar with a rubberized, tight-fitting lid, then after the caviar is open, you do not need to shift it anywhere. Leave it in the same bank, it will be stored in it for at least two months, after which you will certainly have time to eat it. Do not forget to close the jar tightly and to press the latch clamps after each sandwich spread with caviar.

In the event that salted caviar is bought in bulk by weight, and in the near future you will not eat it, then lay it in small glass jars with hermetically sealed lids or in plastic containers. After leveling the surface of the caviar, pour on top of it a little odorless vegetable oil, preferably olive. After that, put the cans in the freezer of the refrigerator, where it can be stored for up to two years without loss of quality.

If you are planning to eat weighted caviar of good quality, in which there is no liquid from crushed eggs in the next six months, then lay it out in sterilized glass jars. Cover its surface with a circle of paper dipped in refined vegetable oil so that the caviar does not dry and put in the coldest place of the refrigerator. Periodically check it for smell - if it began to smell like a herring, then you need to eat it immediately.

Remove the frozen caviar one day before serving, from the freezer and place on the lower shelf of the refrigerator so that it unfrozen gradually.
