Cook the corn in a double boiler. Cob clean and rinse. Place the corn on the wire rack of the double boiler. If the cobs are large, they can be cut into several parts. Cooking time - 45 minutes. Cooking cobs in a slow cooker can be reduced if 20 minutes after boiling, remove the corn and put it in ice water, and then put it back in the bowl. Cooking corn should be light yellow in color. The dark color indicates that the ear is overripe, it will be more difficult to cook such a product. Salt the corn only after cooking. Salt added to water will increase cooking time.
