For a big celebration or an ordinary tasty dinner, you can cook a large juicy piece of beef in the oven. The meat will be tender, aromatic and much more healthy than fried in a pan.

You will need

  • For four servings:

  • - 800 g of boneless beef;

  • - 7 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;

  • - 2 teaspoons of honey, mustard, salt;

  • - 1 teaspoon of dried basil, black pepper, paprika.

Rinse a piece of meat, dry on a paper towel. Combine the olive oil in a bowl with honey, mustard, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried basil. Stir all the spices well.

Marinate the meat in the resulting sauce, leave for 1 hour at room temperature - this time will be enough to soak a piece of beef with the aroma of spices.

After pickling, wrap a piece of meat in foil, send to the oven for 1 hour. Cook at 180 degrees.

Remove the meat, carefully open the foil, put in the oven for another 10-15 minutes to form a golden crust. If your oven has a grill mode, turn it on for 10-15 minutes.

Remove the meat from the oven, cover with foil, leave to rest for 10 minutes. After that, you can cut the baked beef into portions and serve with any side dish.
