Cod is one of the most popular types of fish among our culinary specialists. Oven baking is the best way to cook cod. According to this recipe, tender cod fillet is obtained, baked in a fragrant Dijon mustard sauce. As a side dish, fish and fresh salad are suitable for the fish.

You will need

  • For four servings:

  • - 600 g of cod;

  • - 250 g of cherry and green salad;

  • - 250 g basmati rice;

  • - 200 ml cream;

  • - 2 carrots;

  • - 1 onion;

  • - 1 kohlrabi;

  • - starch, butter, vegetable oil, Dijon mustard, wine vinegar, white pepper.

Preheat the oven to 230 degrees.

Boil rice in four servings (approximately 250 g).

Chop the onions. Sauté it in butter. Add a glass of cream, 100 ml of water, 2 teaspoons of starch, 1.5 tbsp. tablespoons of mustard and a pinch of white pepper. Bring to a boil, cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pepper and salt the cod filet, put the fish in a baking dish. Pour the sauce into the oven for 15 minutes.

Peel the carrots, chop into strips. Add kohlrabi, diced. Cut the salad into small pieces. Cut the cherry in half, add to the vegetables. Season salad 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, pour 2 teaspoons of white wine vinegar, salt, mix.

Serve the finished cod with boiled rice, fresh salad and aromatic sauce.
