Dessert with an interesting name is very popular in Canada. The word BAR in this case means a cake cut into small pieces. It is prepared simply and unpretentiously, very good with unsweetened strong coffee or tea.

Instruction manual
1
Melt butter (100 g) over low heat, mix with sugar and cocoa powder, previously sifted. Stir everything.
2
Beat the egg for 1 minute, adding a pinch of salt, gradually pour into the cocoa butter mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 2 minutes, when the mixture becomes thick, remove from heat.
3
Add chopped (in small crumbs) cookies and coconut, mix well. Put the base in the form with sides, pre-oiled with butter, tamp. Refrigerate for an hour.
4
To prepare the middle layer, combine the butter with powdered sugar and milk, whisk well. If the mixture turned out to be liquid, add a little more powder, since during cooling the layer practically does not harden. Apply the cooked cream on top of the base. Store in the refrigerator for 40-60 minutes.
5
Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath, cool slightly and evenly coat the dessert. Refrigerate to harden, cut and serve.
