Brizol is just one of those dishes that can be prepared in just a few minutes. At the same time, there is not a single unnatural ingredient in it, and its amazing taste will make even the most picky gourmets “swallow the tongue”. What is a brizol?

People unfamiliar with French cuisine are often lost when hearing this word. Meanwhile, most of us are familiar with this dish at home breakfasts. Brizol is an ordinary omelet in which any filling is wrapped: meat, mushrooms, vegetables or even sweet jam.

This dish can be prepared in different ways. Some first form the inside (for example, a patty or a whole piece of chicken), then dip it in a beaten egg and transfer the resulting composition to a pan. Others separately fry the omelet, and then impose different goodies on it.

The size of the brizol also depends solely on the desire of the cook. You can make small, no more cutlets, omelettes. True, they need a suitable size pan. Or fry a large brizol and serve it to the table, having previously rolled up a straw. Or bake the filling in only one half, and cover the second with the top. In a word, there is no limit to fantasy.

Chicken without exaggeration can be called the most successful filling for brizol. It is relatively cheap, cooks quickly, does not require long-term heat treatment, unlike, for example, beef. In addition, it goes well with any side dish.

Processing Chicken Before Cooking

Almost any part of the bird can be used for the breeze: drumstick, ham, pulp at the base of the wings and even the back. But breast is best suited for brizol. By the way, "white meat" is considered the most useful in chicken. Also for this reason, many housewives prefer to cook breakfast from fillet.

Cut the chicken breast into several parts so that you get wide, flat slices, and carefully beat each with a kitchen hammer. A little trick: so that you do not have to wash the table later (and if you're not lucky, then the walls), put the meat in a plastic bag before beating.

Salt the fillet and sprinkle, if desired, paprika or black pepper. After this, it is advisable to leave the breast for an hour and a half, so that it absorbs the aromas of spices well. From 1 chicken breast, 4-6 small pieces of fillet are obtained. Enough to feed a large family.

Classic Chicken Fillet Brizol

The simplest recipe for this amazing dish takes at most a quarter of an hour. And if you beat off and marinate the meat in the evening, then you will have to cook a delicious hearty breakfast in just a few minutes.

For one serving you will need:

  • 1 slice of chicken;

  • 1 egg

  • A few tablespoons of flour;

  • And some lean oil.

Take a deep container with a wide bottom and beat an egg into it. Salt it and mix well with a whisk or fork. Pour some flour into a flat plate. Roll a piece of fillet in it and gently dip it into the egg.

Pour a little oil into a well-heated pan and in one quick motion drain the egg mixture along with the meat into the pan. You will get a kind of omelet, in the middle of which is a chop chop. If she moved to the side, you can carefully correct it until the egg has time to "grab".

Fry the brizol on one side until the eggs are golden brown (this takes about 5 minutes). Turn it over with a spatula and keep it on fire for another 3-4 minutes. This time the chicken breast is just enough to fry, but not have time to become dry. You can serve with a side dish or eat as an independent dish.

Chicken minced brisole

It is not always possible to make chops. But minced chicken can be purchased at any store. And it is great for making tasty and satisfying brizol.

To prepare 2 servings you will need:

  • 150 grams of minced meat;

  • 3 eggs;

  • 2 tablespoons of milk;

  • 50 grams of sour cream;

  • pickled cucumber (or a few if you have tiny gherkins);

  • clove of garlic;

  • fresh herbs (dill is best, although parsley, cilantro, and green onion feathers will do);

  • some lean oil;

  • and seasonings.

A rich sauce will add a piquant flavor to this hearty treat. For its preparation, you need to mix finely chopped greens with sour cream, pour the garlic passed through the crush into the same crush, and adding salt, mix the mass thoroughly.

Chop the cucumbers with thin strips. Salt and pepper the minced meat. Beat one egg into it and mix it well with meat.

Form two meatballs from the minced meat. Roll into a flat cake and set aside: they will be needed a little later.

Next, beat 1 egg with salt and half milk. Pour the workpiece onto a flat plate and lay the chicken cake on top with maximum care. Then carefully slide the entire mass into a well-heated pan with a drop of oil.

Sauté the omelet on medium heat on both sides (4-5 minutes each) and remove on a clean plate. Make sure that the meat filling is on top. Top with half the sour cream sauce and chopped cucumbers. Now it remains only to roll the first brizol into a roll and also prepare the second portion.

Of course, if you need to feed a large number of guests, it can take a lot of time to prepare the required number of rolls. However, their amazing taste and original look are worth it!
