It is enough to boil, add sour cream - and you can sit down at the table. Another thing is that dumplings (like any other monotonous food) become boring very quickly. And then folk ingenuity comes to the rescue. Before you - six original, hearty, and most importantly, incredibly delicious dishes of dumplings.

What can happen in life? Financial problems, lack of time for cooking, unexpected departure of a wife on a business trip

For those who are forced to eat dumplings for several days in a row, as the simplest and fastest cooking food, this recipe will be a real find.

In order to create an amazingly delicious dish, you only need:

  • a pack of frozen dumplings;

  • half a packet of mayonnaise;

  • half a glass of water;

  • some lean oil;

  • 1 teaspoon of salt and a little ground black pepper.

The cooking process is extremely simple: put an even layer of dumplings on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle them with black pepper and pour the mayonnaise, trying to squeeze it out with a thin stream, so that it is enough on the entire surface. Gently pour half a glass of salted water on the side, then wrap the baking sheet with foil and place in the oven for half an hour. The resulting aromatic dish will delight you not only with its unusual appearance, but also (which is much more important) with an absolutely amazing taste that cannot be achieved simply by boiling dumplings.

Student soup

"Why not?" - probably, this is exactly what the student thought, the first to think of pouring the remaining dumplings from the pack into his lean soup. Well, this solution can be called life hack of the century: the finished dish, obtained thanks to such an additive, has a great taste and high energy value. Take the following ingredients:

  • litere of water;

  • several potatoes;

  • 1 small carrot;

  • 2 small onions (or 1 large);

  • dumplings - 10-15 pieces (about 100 grams);

  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil;

  • 1 teaspoon of salt.

If desired, you can add dry herbs (for example, Provence collection) and fresh herbs to the soup.

There are two options for preparing this dish: the first is to make a regular homemade soup, and 10 minutes before cooking, instead of pasta or meatballs, add processed meat to it.

The second option is more interesting: first you need to boil dumplings until half ready. Then pull them onto a plate and throw finely chopped potatoes into the same broth.

Meanwhile, heat a spoonful of vegetable oil in a pan, chop the onion into small cubes, and simmer over medium heat until soft (about 6-7 minutes). While it is grilling, rub the carrots. As soon as the onion is podgold, put it in a pan, add, if necessary, a little oil and fry, stirring, for another 5 minutes.

Potatoes are almost ready for this time. Put the onion frying in the pan and let it boil for 5 minutes. Then put the dumplings there and, after waiting for boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum. Soup should be simmered under the lid for no more than 2-3 minutes, then turn off the stove and let the dish brew.

Before serving, the dish can be decorated with finely chopped parsley or dill. And you can do without it: the taste, smell and appearance will already be magnificent!

Dumplings roll

These semi-finished meat products are perfect if you need to quickly create a tasty, satisfying and, if possible, original lunch. For meatloaf you will need:

  • half a glass of milk;

  • 2 eggs;

  • 1 tablespoon flour;

  • 50 grams of any hard cheese;

  • on a tablespoon of mayonnaise and ketchup;

  • some salt;

  • fresh greens.

Beat eggs in a deep bowl with salt, add milk, flour and mix thoroughly again.

Heat a little lean oil in a pan and pour the egg mixture into it. You need to fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. In the meantime, you can boil dumplings.

Carefully remove the omelet on a wide plate or board, being careful not to tear it. Put on one half the dumplings in one layer and greens. Pour in equal proportions ketchup and mayonnaise. Sprinkle with grated cheese and tightly wrap the omelet roll. From above it can be decorated with a thin "snake" made of mayonnaise. It remains only to put the roll in a pan and, having closed the lid, keep it on low heat for 5 minutes (or send it to the oven for the same time). Before serving, the dish must be cut into several pieces. From one roll, 3-4 portions are obtained, depending on the size of the pan on which the omelet was fried.

Cream Cheese Dumplings

This simple recipe is great for those who are used to using a slow cooker. You will need the following products:

  • 900 gram pack of dumplings;

  • 250 grams of sour cream;

  • 200 grams of fat cream;

  • as much as any hard cheese;

  • and, of course, salt with spices.

Pour some water into the multicooker bowl, turn on the “dumplings” mode (or, if it is not in your model, you can use the “boil”, “steamed” or “soup” mode). Wait until the water boils, salt it and put the semi-finished products there. After 5 minutes, the mode must be changed to "quenching" and cook for another 15 minutes.

Now thoroughly mix the sour cream with cream and, as soon as the dumplings are cooked, pour this mass into the slow cooker. Gently lay the cheese on top. Close the lid and simmer for a few more minutes.

This dish can be served as a main dish, as a supplement and as a side dish, for example, a vegetable salad.

Dumplings with mushrooms in the pots

Due to the high calorie content, this tasty and satisfying meal will be a good option for both a regular home-made meal, and for a lunch break in any construction or repair team.

For 2 full servings, you will need the following number of products:

  • 1 small pack of dumplings (450 grams);

  • as many mushrooms;

  • 400 grams of sour cream;

  • 2 large onions;

  • 50 grams of butter (a quarter pack or 3 tablespoons);

  • salt, black pepper and paprika - to your taste.

Peel, rinse and chop the mushrooms in large pieces. Boil in a small amount of water for 7-10 minutes and discard in a colander. Do not pour the mushroom broth, it will be needed later.

Pour the dumplings into a separate pan and, after boiling, cook for 5 minutes. In the meantime, you can refuel. Chop the onion into small cubes, put in the butter heated in a pan and pass until soft. After that, add mushrooms to the onion and fry until both ingredients have a golden hue.

Now you need to collect all the products in the pots. In each pot, put an equal amount of ravioli and a piece of butter. Shuffle. Put the mushroom dressing in a second layer. Beat sour cream with 1 cup mushroom broth. Salt the mixture, season with spices and pour about 2/3 of each pot. Close the lid and leave to simmer in the oven for 15 minutes.

This dish has such a refined taste that it is served even in cafes, fast food restaurants and factory canteens. In meat and mushrooms there are a lot of proteins that provide a feeling of satiety for a long time, and a fatty fragrant broth perfectly warms even in severe frosts. Moreover, the ceramic lid for a long time does not allow the dish to cool.
