  • • 3 full cups of wheat flour;

  • • 2/3 cups of granulated sugar;

  • • 200 g sour cream;

  • • half a teaspoon of baking soda.

Before you start cooking quick cakes, you need to cool sour cream in advance by placing it in the refrigerator.

Flour should be carefully sifted and pour baking soda into it. After this, the flour mixes well.

Chilled sour cream should be transferred into a deep cup, and the required amount of sugar is also poured into this container.

Sour cream should be thoroughly beaten with a mixer, whisk, or fork. Then, in the whipped sour cream, you need to gradually pour wheat flour and mix everything carefully. If two glasses are not enough and the dough turns out to be liquidy, then add more flour, but do not overdo it, it should not be too thick.

Divide the resulting dough into 2 halves, which should be approximately the same in size. Then each of the halves should be rolled into a fairly thin layer (approximate thickness of 0.5 centimeter). To avoid sticking the dough to the surface of the table, you need to use parchment paper.

Next, you need to form small cakes. This can be done with a special mold or take a simple glass.

Prepare a baking tray. To do this, you need to cover its bottom with parchment paper and generously grease with softened butter. Then lay prepared cakes on it. They are put together in two pieces (one on top of the other).

After this, the pan with the cakes should be placed in the oven preheated to 200 degrees on the middle shelf. Cakes will be baked for about a quarter of an hour (maybe a little less).

With the help of a knife, ready-made cakes can be divided into 2 halves and spread in the middle with confiture or jam, and then reconnected. And on top of them you can pour chocolate.
