Pumpkin with honey in the oven

Low-calorie, aromatic and easy to prepare dessert - pumpkin baked in the oven. Washed pumpkin is cut into several parts, seeds are removed and cut into small slices. A baking sheet is greased with vegetable oil, pumpkin slices are placed on it and put in the oven preheated to 180-200 degrees.

The baking time will depend on the type of pumpkin and the power of the oven, but on average it usually takes about 30 minutes to make the vegetable soft and aromatic. Another option is known, when pumpkin slices laid in a heat-resistant dish are baked for about 20 minutes, then taken out of the oven, poured with honey mixed with grated orange zest and squeezed orange juice, sprinkled with cinnamon and baked for another 12-15 minutes. But in this case, the beneficial properties of honey can be lost, only its characteristic sweet taste will remain.

Microwave pumpkin with honey

Baked pumpkin in the microwave is cooked somewhat faster than in the oven, but it does not become less tasty. To prepare the dessert, you will need to peel the vegetable and cut it into slices, then put it in a special dish for the microwave and slightly sprinkle with lemon juice. The dessert is cooked at full capacity for 20 minutes - until the slices become soft. The finished dish is sprinkled with cinnamon and sprinkled with liquid honey.

Small vegetables can be baked without using special dishes - in a half of the pumpkin, peeled and a soft layer with seeds, put a little butter, a couple of teaspoons of sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, soaked raisins and add 2-3 tablespoons of water. Dessert is cooked for half an hour, before serving, pour honey.

Pumpkin with honey in a slow cooker

The multicooker mold is greased with a small amount of butter or vegetable oil, carefully lay the slices of pumpkin peeled down into it. Add half a glass of water to the container and turn on the baking mode for 30 minutes. Finished slices are removed from the mold and greased with honey.

Another option is to cook pumpkin using the stewing mode: peeled slices of pumpkin and apples are mixed with a handful of raisins, sprinkled with lemon juice and cooked for 35-40 minutes. The finished dish is poured with honey and sprinkled with ground nuts or toasted sesame seeds.
