You will need
- - Cottage cheese (not less than 5-9% fat, better 18%) - 500g
- - Sour cream (20-30% fat content) - 100g
- - Butter - 100g
- - Powdered sugar - 100g
- - Raisins, dried apricots, nuts, candied fruits - to taste

Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance. It should become soft.

Pour dried fruits with boiling water, hold them for a couple of minutes and drain the water.

Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve. If there is no sieve, use a wooden spatula or mixer. Achieve cottage cheese uniformity.

Add butter to the curd, mix. Then put sour cream and powdered sugar. Whip everything.

Add dried fruits, nuts and candied fruits to the resulting curd mass, mix.

Put the pasochnitsa with gauze folded two to three times.

Pour the curd into the pasochnitsa, close it with the bottom and put the press on top.

Put Easter in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

After the specified time, turn Easter on a plate. You can additionally decorate it: in the upper part lay out the letters “ХВ” with candied fruits or dried fruits, and on the sides depict a cross or sprouts of flowers.

Cottage cheese and sour cream for making Easter should be fresh.
Useful advice
The more fat cottage cheese you take, the more dense the mass will turn out.
It is best to wipe the cottage cheese through a sieve, then it will be saturated with oxygen.
If you do not have a ready-made pasochnitsa, instead of it you can use a flower pot, bowl, salad bowl, bucket, grater and any other suitable container. Keep in mind that there must be holes in the pasochnik so that excess moisture drains.
