- - 3 tablespoons of raisins (pre-soak in rum)

- - 125 ml apple juice
- - 1 sachet of vanilla pudding powder
- - 400 ml cream
- - 1 sachet of cream thickener
- - 10 grams of vanilla sugar

Soften the butter until white with 1 cup of sugar.

Insert eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly each time.

Add flour with baking powder in small portions.

Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Divide the dough into two parts, put on baking sheets and sprinkle with chopped nuts, which must be pre-mixed with cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar.

Bake cakes for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

Peel the apples and cut into cubes by removing the core.

Put the apples in a saucepan, add raisins, lemon juice, the remaining sugar and 1 tablespoon of apple juice. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the pudding diluted with the remaining juice and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Allow the mixture to cool and spread over one cake.

Beat cream with a mixer with a thickener and vanilla sugar, put on the filling and cover with another cake. Sprinkle icing sugar on the cake if desired.
