New Year's holidays are coming. At this time, I want to surprise the family and guests with something new and unusual. Puff salads are not very popular, except for herring under a fur coat and Mimosa, perhaps. This list can be expanded with a couple of original and very tasty salads.

Salad "Tenderness"

A very unusual and tasty salad, which is suitable for both a home dinner and a festive table.

You will need:

- boiled chicken fillet - 400 g;

- boiled rice 8-10 tbsp;

- boiled carrots 1-2 pcs.;

- garlic - 2 cloves;

- Eggs - 6 pcs.;

- Mayonnaise - 1 pack (225 ml);

- hard cheese - 200 g;

- parsley - for decoration.

Cooking

We clean the garlic, pass through a press or rub on a fine grater. Put the mayonnaise in a bowl, mix with garlic. Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes and put it on the bottom of a deep bowl (salad bowl), grease it with mayonnaise. Next, a layer of rice, also greased with mayonnaise.

4 eggs are rubbed on a coarse grater - this is the next layer, greased with mayonnaise. Peel the carrots and rub on a fine grater and coat with mayonnaise again. Cheese grated on a fine grater will be the next layer, also coat with mayonnaise. Separate the yolks from the remaining two eggs, rub on a fine grater on the cheese, and make the decoration from the proteins: flowers, stars, bows, etc. Also for decoration we use parsley branches, for example, as flower stalks. A large amount of mayonnaise can make the salad greasy and heavy enough for the stomach, so you can skip mayonnaise in some layers.

Chicken and Prune Salad

You will need:

- chicken meat - 500 g;

- champignons - 500 g;

- onion - 1 pc.;

- hard cheese - 200 g;

- walnuts - 200 g;

- prune - 200 g;

- mayonnaise - 200 g.

We cut the mushrooms into slices, add the finely chopped onion and simmer for 10 minutes under the lid. Pour prunes with boiling water and leave for 5-7 minutes to soften the dried fruit. Cut the boiled chicken into small pieces and mix with half the mayonnaise. Put the prepared mushrooms at the bottom of the salad bowl and cover with chicken meat. Drain the water from the prune, rinse it well and cut it into cubes (you can julienne). We spread the prunes on the chicken and lightly grease with mayonnaise.

We grate hard cheese on a coarse grater - this is the final layer in the salad, grease with mayonnaise on top. Grind the walnut in a blender (you can try rolling it out with a rolling pin), until small crumbs, sprinkle it over the entire surface of the salad. If desired, the salad can be decorated with prunes or fresh herbs.
