  • For spring salad:

  • - boiled beef tongue;

  • - 5-6 fresh cucumbers;

  • - 2 cloves of garlic;

  • - 150 g of hard cheese;

  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of mayonnaise;

  • - 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream.
  • For a savory salad in Croatian:

  • - 400 g of smoked beef tongue;

  • - 100 g pickled gherkins;

  • - onion head;

  • - parsley;

  • - 1 teaspoon of mustard;

  • - salt to taste;

  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil.
  • For avocado and beef tongue salad:

  • - 400 g of boiled beef tongue;

  • - 2 avocados;

  • - head of red onion;

  • - 1/3 bunch of cilantro or parsley;

  • - 3-4 lettuce leaves;

  • - salt;

  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of mayonnaise;

  • - 1 tbsp. a spoon of sour cream.

To prepare the Spring salad, cut the boiled beef tongue into thin plates, and then each into thin strips. Cut cucumbers in a similar way. Put these ingredients in a salad bowl and season with a mixture of sour cream, mayonnaise and garlic passed through a press. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, add it to the salad and mix lightly. Immediately serve to the table, otherwise the salad will flow and lose its beautiful appearance.

To prepare a savory salad in Croatian beef tongue, cut into small strips, and cut the pickled gherkins into several parts. Add to them chopped onions and salt a little to taste. Mix mustard with vegetable oil in a separate container and season salad with this mixture. At the end, sprinkle with chopped parsley.

To prepare a light and bright salad with avocado, peel this fruit, remove the stone, and cut the flesh into cubes. Grind beef tongue in the same way. Cut red onion into thin half rings. Add to them finely chopped lettuce leaves and chopped greens. Dress this salad with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise. If necessary, salt to taste.
