The national pride of Cyprus - Halloumi cheese - is good not only on its own, but also in salads. And this recipe is a direct proof of this.

You will need

  • 225 g halloumi cheese;

  • 4 sweet peppers (preferably multi-colored);

  • A bunch of dill;

  • A bunch of parsley;

  • A few leaves of mint;

  • Coarse salt and black pepper to taste;

  • Olive oil;

  • Sumy - 1 tbsp.

Grate the peppers with salt, oil and pepper and send under the preheated grill until the blackening is sure. Then turn them into a baking bag - so it will be easier for us to clean them from the skin.

Meanwhile, cut the halloumi cheese into a small cube and fry in a pan (if you have a good non-stick pan, then without butter) until golden brown.

Peel the peppers, cut into thin strips and transfer to a salad bowl. Send cheese cubes there.

Finely chop the greens, add to the peppers and cheese, sprinkle with sumac. To try, it is possible to add and pepper to taste. Sprinkle lightly with olive oil (optional) and serve!
