Grated Apple Pie Recipe

For this cake, any variety of juicy sweet and sour apples is suitable.

Ingredients:

- 200 g of butter;

- 200 g cream margarine;

- 1.5 kg of apples;

- 2 eggs;

- 1.5 cups of sugar;

- 5 glasses of flour;

- 1 teaspoon of soda;

- vinegar;

- icing sugar.

Melt butter and margarine, add sugar, eggs, soda, slaked in vinegar, flour. The resulting dough (it will be bold enough) is divided into 2 parts: two-thirds and one-third (for the second part, take a little more than one third, and for the first - a little less).

Distribute most of the bottom of the pan, make the sides. Peel and grate apples. You can slightly sprinkle with lemon juice so as not to darken. If the apples are sour, sprinkle some apples with sugar. Sort apples by dough.

Cover the apples with the remaining dough, crushing it, adding flour to small pieces. Place the baking tray with the contents in a hot oven.

The cake is baked for about 20-30 minutes. It should turn pink from above and from the sides, it is also necessary that the sides lag behind the walls of the baking sheet. Once the cake has cooled, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
