The finished dish turns out to be extremely tasty, has a natural composition and resembles that which was in Soviet times and was prepared according to GOST. Most likely, after this recipe you will not be able to buy ice cream in the store anymore, but you will begin to prepare it yourself.

You will need

  • The main ingredients:

  • - high fat cream (preferably 33-35%) - 500 grams,

  • - condensed milk (1/2 iron cans),

  • - vanillin (to taste).
  • Basic equipment:

  • - electric mixer,

  • - capacity for whipping (jar or pan),

  • - capacity for freezing (container).

Take a large container (a 2-liter jar or pan is suitable), pour high-fat cream (500 grams) into it. Ideally, we take 33-35% fat, but you can use less fat, provided that the taste of the ice cream is less saturated.

With a mixer, we begin to actively whip the cream.

Add vanillin (to taste) and continue whisking.

Add condensed milk (1/2 jar). Continue whipping until thick. Condensed milk affects the sweetness of ice cream. Half of the can gives the classic sweetness of the ice cream in accordance with GOST. If you want the finished product to be sweeter, add more condensed milk.

The thickened mass is transferred to the container and put in the freezer for 4-6 hours, or better - at night.

For the first two hours, every 30 minutes we take the ice cream out of the freezer, stir it actively with a spoon and remove it back. This must be done so that it does not crystallize.

Finished ice cream can be decorated with grated chocolate or grated walnuts, but believe me, it is already deliciously delicious! Enjoy the taste of childhood!

When whipping cream increases in volume by two to three times, therefore, take a responsible approach to choosing a container for cooking: it should be large and high. A good solution is a 2 liter can.

Ready ice cream can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time - it will not lose its properties.
