Buckwheat porridge is an incredibly healthy and nutritious dish. You can use it in the form of a side dish, and as an independent food. Fried buckwheat is a rather rare way of cooking this cereal.

You will need

    • First way:
    • buckwheat groats - 1 tbsp.;
    • vegetable oil;
    • 2 eggs;
    • garlic powder;
    • butter - 70 g;
    • soy sauce.

    • 1 onion;
    • 300 g of buckwheat;
    • vegetable oil;
    • - salt and pepper.

First way

First, sort out the groats well, separating buckwheat from various impurities and spoiled grains.

Rinse the cereal thoroughly in cold running water, changing the water several times. Wash buckwheat until clear water. Throw it in a colander and let it drain well.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over low heat. Put buckwheat in it and fry for 3-5 minutes.

Add 1.5 cups of boiling water to the pan, cover and simmer for another 15-20 minutes over low heat.

Heat butter in a clean, dry pan. Beat the eggs with a fork in a small bowl. Pour into the pan. Toast with constant stirring until cooked.

Mix well cooked buckwheat and eggs. Season with garlic powder and soy sauce to taste. Add a little butter to the porridge, if desired. Slightly fry everything together in a pan and serve. Bon Appetit!

Second way

Carefully sort the buckwheat groats, rinse it in cold water and boil.

Peel the onions and chop finely with a well-ground knife.

Heat vegetable oil in a dry frying pan. Sauté the onion in it over low heat and add the buckwheat porridge to it. Mix everything well and fry the porridge until it is crumbly.

Salt and pepper to taste and serve the dish to the table.

Buckwheat is considered to be incredibly useful groats due to the content of minerals and trace elements such as iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, iodine, phosphorus, copper, etc. Also, vitamins of group B and vitamin P, fiber and folic acid are not present. Buckwheat contains a record amount of protein compared to any other cereal.
