The plant has different lengths of stems - from 15 centimeters to 2 meters, in the mature state, saturated green color and fruit shape, similar to all other legumes. Usually soybeans, fixed within the stalks, located closely along the entire length of the stems, are quite large in size and 4-6 centimeters long. The leaves are round or oval in shape and also green in color, followed by yellowing towards the end of fruiting and plant life.

Soya is a real find for vegetarians and is very common in the cuisines of eastern peoples. The list of products prepared from this plant is quite wide. For example, the so-called natto, which is also called "misso paste"; flour obtained from soybean seeds; soybean oil, which is increasingly popular when frying meat; soy milk of plant origin, but white; soy meat made from nonfat soy flour; soy sauce, which is based on fermented beans; tempe - a product from soybean seeds with the addition of fungal crops; yuba - a dried film that is removed from the surface of soy milk and many others.

The tofu product, a cheese made from soy milk, was also widely used in world culinary. It can have a different consistency - from very soft to relatively hard, similar to jelly. Usually tofu is pressed into briquettes and frozen, after which it acquires a yellow color and has a very porous structure.
