Of course, you can buy such a product in any supermarket, but to be sure that it really does not contain any harmful additives, it is better to cook it yourself, especially since it will not be particularly difficult.

Recipe:

  • 1 liter of milk;
  • 1.5 tbsp calcium chloride;
  • nonfat cream;
  • salt.

We heat skim milk to 40-50 ° C. Add calcium chloride to it, which you can buy at any pharmacy. Constantly stir the milk, leaving the pan on low heat. You will see how milk is curdled and curd kernels are gradually formed.

Next, lower the pan with the future cottage cheese into a container with cold water, continue to stir the contents. As soon as the curd cools down, filter it through cheesecloth. The resulting curd grains, if desired, can be salted and seasoned with low-fat cream.

The resulting cottage cheese can be consumed with fruit, jam, jam or added to salads. You can also use it as a separate dish, crushing a little fresh parsley in the curd.
