You will need:

- fresh pike perch - 500 g;

- potatoes - 3 pcs.;

- onions - 1 pc.;

- carrots - 1 pc.;

- tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;

- parsley roots - 2 tbsp. l.;

- dry spices (cloves, bay leaf, pepper and others for fish);

- fresh herbs (basil, parsley, dill, cilantro and others).

Clean the zander, then make a longitudinal section, gut and remove the gills, and then thoroughly rinse the fish carcass, separate the head, tail and cut into small portions.

Separated tail and head must be boiled together with spices, as well as parsley root and one onion until completely boiled.

Then strain the broth and put in it peeled and prepared vegetables: carrots and potatoes, add pre-washed rice. Boil the broth for 10-15 minutes after boiling. Next, add the pieces of pikeperch, as well as tomato paste to the pan, mix well and cook for another 10 minutes.

Serve hot tomato soup from pike perch to the table hot along with herbs.
