To cook pumpkin porridge in a slow cooker, you need the following ingredients:

- 1 multi-cup millet or a mixture of rice and millet;

- 3 multi-cups of milk or water (it is recommended to pour liquids in equal proportions so that pumpkin porridge does not run away);

- 2 multi-glasses of grated pumpkin;

- 1 tbsp. l granulated sugar;

- ½ tsp salts;

- 25 g of butter.

Stages of preparation:

  1. Rinse the cereals thoroughly, fill with hot water for 5 minutes, then drain the liquid. The stores sell millet and rice already steamed. If you are cooking from steamed cereals, then pour it with boiling water before cooking pumpkin porridge.

  2. Wash the pumpkin, peel, remove the seeds. Grind the vegetable or cut into small pieces. Porridge cooked with grated pumpkin is a beautiful color.

  3. In the bowl of the slow cooker, put the prepared cereals and pumpkin, pour water and milk, salt, sugar.

  4. Just above the level where the poured milk ends with water, draw a rim of butter over the entire multicooker bowl, this will help protect the dish from "escaping". For the same purpose, put a steaming grid on the bowl, having previously lubricated its bottom with oil.

  5. Cook the pumpkin porridge in the "Milk porridge" mode before the beep.

  6. After the crock-pot squeaks, darken the dish in the "Heating" mode for 5-7 minutes.

Serve pumpkin porridge to the table, seasoned with butter.
