Creamy soups are tasty and healthy when cooked with seafood. Here is a recipe for soup with red fish, shrimp and vegetables, which will not leave anyone indifferent and will be enjoyed by an interesting combination of ingredients.

  • - unpeeled shrimp - 500 g;

  • - red fish - 300 g;

  • - potatoes - 4 pcs.;

  • - carrots - 2 pcs.;

  • - onions - 2 pcs.;

  • - cream - 200 ml;

  • - celery stalk - 70 g;

  • - corn - 1 can, 200 g;

  • - garlic - 3 cloves;

  • - bay leaf - 2 pcs.;

  • - dill 2 tbsp. l.;

  • - salt, pepper, nutmeg - to taste;

  • - water - 1.5 l.

To prepare this soup, you can use whole red fish, then you will need about 500-800 g. You can also buy fish fillet. In the same way, you can do with shrimp: peeled you need 200-300 g, untreated - 500 g.

First clean the shrimp from the shell, remove their intestinal vein from the head. In order to remove the dark intestinal vein, it is necessary to make an incision along the back and extend the vein. Keep in mind that vein is not particularly affected by the taste of shrimp. At the same time, put off the shells and heads of the shrimp: you will need them to prepare the broth. It is best to place them on a baking sheet and dry for about 15 minutes in the oven, you can also fry them for about 5 minutes in a pan with the addition of a small amount of butter.

Pour water into the pan, put the shells and shrimp heads and cook for about 15 minutes. At this time, start preparing vegetables: peel the carrots, cut it and celery stalks into cubes, wash onions, peel and cut into half rings or any other shape. These vegetables must be fried in a small amount of butter in a pan.

After the shells and heads of the shrimp are boiled for 15 minutes, you can add red fish to them, bring to a boil, then cook for about 10 minutes.

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut them into cubes. Put the fried vegetables in a separate pan, pour half the broth and another 200 ml of water, put the potatoes and cook for about 7-10 minutes. In the meantime, strain the remaining broth, select the fish and disassemble it into pieces.

Then combine the broth with the contents of the pan, add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes. Now you can add corn, red fish, bay leaf, garlic, pepper, nutmeg and salt to the soup. Wait for the moment when your soup boils, boil it for about 2-3 minutes and turn it off at the very end of cooking. Add cream to the soup and bring to a boil again. Leave the creamy soup with shrimp and squid for about 10 minutes, and after that you can serve hot to the table.
