Instruction manual
1
From the recipe of the dish you want to cook, find out how much rice is needed. The recipe can indicate either the amount of rice cereal or the amount of finished rice. In the latter case, divide the volume (weight) by 3 and get the calculation for cereal. For example, from one glass of cereal, three glasses of the finished product are obtained, from 100 g - 300 g of boiled rice.
2
Take the required amount of cereal and rinse thoroughly.
3
Pour water into the pan, put the groats into it, put on fire and bring to a boil. Rice, which is prepared for stuffing, does not need to be salted during cooking.
4
After boiling water in a pan, reduce the heat on the gas burner or heat on the electric stove to a minimum and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
5
If the cooked rice is surrounded by a sticky mass, which happens when washing the rice cereal insufficiently before cooking, recline it in a colander and rinse it with running water.
6
Some recipes for dishes stuffed with rice imply further cooking, during which it continues to be boiled. For this reason, according to such recipes, rice needs to be boiled until half-cooked, within 8-9 minutes after boiling water in a pan.
7
Mix rice with other foods in the required proportions according to the recipe. Salt the resulting mincemeat.
note
Rice for stuffing, unlike that which is prepared as an independent dish, does not have to be crumbly. Focus on the requirements for the consistency of minced meat.
Useful advice
For stuffing is used, as a rule, white round grain rice.
