You will need

  • - wheat flour - 450 g;

  • - cottage cheese - 250 g;

  • - butter - 100 g;

  • - egg yolks - 2 pcs.;

  • - sugar - 1/2 cup;

  • - vanillin on the tip of a knife;

  • - soda on the tip of a knife;

  • - lemon juice - 1 teaspoon.

Instruction manual

1

Put in a separate cup mashed cottage cheese, egg yolks, as well as granulated sugar, vanilla and melted butter. Carefully rub all the above ingredients with each other. Thanks to this, you form a homogeneous mass.

2

Add soda to the sifted flour, having previously extinguished it with lemon juice. Then combine the resulting mixture with the curd. Having mixed everything well, you will get the dough for "Rosettes". Keep the finished dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours, no less.

3

Remove the chilled dough from the refrigerator and roll it into a layer with a thickness of at least 5 millimeters. Cut round figures from it with the neck of a glass.

4

Lay the circles obtained from the test on top of each other so that each lies on the edge of the previous one, that is, an overlap. Thus, you will get something like a strip. For one such strip you will need 3 figures.

5

Wrap the strips formed from the dough in the form of a tube, and then cut each such blank in half. Thus, from one strip you will get 2 "Rosettes".

6

On a greased baking sheet or vegetable oil, place the cookies at some distance from each other so that the cut side is below. Bake a treat in the oven at a temperature of 170 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

7

After the time has passed, remove the dish from the oven, cool, and then decorate, for example, with powdered sugar. Roses cookies are ready!
