Chicken salad with orange, pomegranate, pickled onions, seasoned with yogurt, will not leave anyone indifferent. The salad is very light and nutritious. Cooking it is quite simple. The indicated amount of food is enough for 3 servings.

You will need

  • - chicken breast (fillet) - 300 g;

  • - orange - 1 pc.;

  • - petioles of celery - 50 g;

  • - onions (red) - 1 pc.;

  • - Frieze salad leaves - 50 g;

  • - pomegranate - 1 pc.;

  • - classic yogurt - 3 tbsp. l.;

  • - lemon - 1 pc.;

  • - sugar - 0.5 tsp;

  • - salt - a pinch;

  • - ground black pepper - a pinch.

Rinse chicken fillet with water, boil in salted water until tender. Cool, cut into medium-sized cubes.

Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings. Squeeze the juice out of the pulp of the lemon (you need about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice).

Combine lemon juice, sugar, salt and ground pepper. Shuffle. Pour onion with lemon juice and seasonings, mix and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Peel the orange, divide into slices. Cut each slice into 3-4 parts, remove the seeds. Cut celery stalk into thin slices. Rinse the lettuce leaves with water, dry and tear into small pieces with your hands. Remove the grains from the pomegranate (about 2 tablespoons of grains will be needed).

Combine chicken, pickled onions, orange, celery, salt and mix. Season the salad with yogurt and mix again. Put a few lettuce leaves on a serving plate, lay the cooked chicken salad on top, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. The dish is ready.
