You will need

  • - dry yeast - 1/2 sachet;

  • - warm water - 200 ml;

  • - garlic - 1-2 cloves;

  • - olive oil - 2 tablespoons;

  • - chopped parsley - 1 tablespoon;

  • - freshly ground black pepper.

Combine warm water, icing sugar and yeast in one bowl. Do not touch this mixture for 15 minutes. Thus, the dough will turn out.

Sifting the flour, add salt to it and lay on the work surface in the form of a slide, at the top of which you need to make a recess. Put the finished dough into the resulting recess. Knead the dough from the resulting mass. Knead it for at least 10 minutes. When it is ready, wrap it with cling film. Keep in this position for a quarter of an hour.

Combine parsley with olive oil and chopped cloves of garlic. Mix everything thoroughly.

Cut the resulting dough with a knife into 2 pieces. Then roll in such a way as to form layers with a thickness of not more than 1 centimeter. By the way, rolling out is not necessary with a rolling pin - just crush it with your fingers.

Carefully coat rolled layers with garlic mass and season with freshly ground black pepper. In this form, carefully place on a greased baking sheet. Then take the knife and use it to make small transverse cuts on the dough and stretch it so that you get holes. Do not touch for a quarter hour.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 250 degrees and send the dish into it for about 5-7 minutes. Garlic cakes are ready!
