Kebab from chicken is no less popular than from other types of meat, and the reasons for this are quite obvious. Poultry is much cheaper and at the same time much more healthy and lighter than pork, lamb or beef. Soak it in soy sauce, kefir or spicy tomato marinade, and you will get an excellent dish for frying on a fire or grill.

Soya Chicken Marinade
Ingredients for 1.5 kg of meat:
- 150 ml of soy sauce;
- 5 cloves of garlic;
- 1.5 tsp curry;
- 3 cm ginger root.
Peel and grate the ginger root and garlic cloves on a fine grater, combine them with curry and soy sauce in a deep bowl. Put the thighs or chicken legs there and mix everything well so that the dark mass evenly covers the meat. Soak it in a soya marinade for at least 2 hours by placing the dishes in a cool place. Fry chicken skewers on a wire rack or skewers.
Top up the soya marinade with a little honey, and the chicken after frying on the coals will get a beautiful crisp.
Kefir Chicken Kebab Marinade
Ingredients per 1 kg of chicken:
- 1 tbsp. kefir;
- 1 tbsp ketchup;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 5 dried cloves;
- 0.5 tsp ground black pepper;
- 1 tsp salt.
Rub salt with approximately equal-sized chicken fragments — legs, halves of the thighs, wings and quarters of the breast. Mix kefir with ketchup, cloves, minced in a mortar, black pepper and crushed garlic. Marinate the pieces of poultry in the resulting mixture, leaving them for 6-10 hours on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Water them while cooking with the remaining marinade.
