First you need to peel the mango, cut the pulp and cut into cubes. It should turn out about 500 grams. If it turned out differently, then you need to change the amount of sugar accordingly.

Lemon should be dipped in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then wipe and remove zest from it with a fine grater.

Mango should be put in a pan, covered with sugar. There, put grated zest, a pinch of cinnamon and pour in rum.

Mix everything and heat over medium heat, constantly stirring.

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 20-30 minutes on moderate heat.

Then turn off the heat and grind the mixture until smooth with a submersible blender, after removing cinnamon.

As it cools, the jam should gradually thicken, so you need to quickly transfer it to clean jars and close it.
