The basis of oriental sweets is honey, sugar and whipped proteins. Light egg dough combines with nuts and turns into a delicate dessert, melting in your mouth. Enjoy it with a flavored tea.

Make sweet nougat for tea. She will need a minimum of ingredients, this:
- honey - 100 g;
- proteins - 3 pcs.;
- sugar - 390 g;
- water - 50 ml;
- almond or hazelnuts - 270-300 g.
Soak the kernels in boiling water for one minute. Drain the water, cool the nuts a little, remove the skin from them. If it is not removed, it will be slightly bitter in the nougat.
Next, dry the kernels over low heat in a frying pan without oil or in the oven.
Sugar and honey put in a pan with a thick bottom, add water. Boil the syrup, stirring, over low heat until it begins to reach. You can check the readiness as follows: drip the syrup on a saucer, if the drop does not spread, it is ready. This usually takes 8-12 minutes.
In parallel with the caramelization process, beat the chilled proteins into a thick foam. Then pour the syrup into them with a thin stream and continue whisking. The mass will become more elastic and thicker. Beat it for another 7 minutes, then proceed to the next step.
Line a rectangular shape with cling film, sprinkle with sugar. Put nuts in the protein mass, mix gently. You can experiment by adding a little cherry or blackcurrant there.
Put the mass in a form that needs to be sent to the refrigerator for 2 hours, after which the nougat is ready. It is cut into slices and enjoyed, washed down with green or black tea.
